He had a swaying\, reckless\, unpolished way of writing\, but his latest record – Lovers and Leavers – strips back the layers to reveal the quiet perfection of ‘normal’ life after the doors to the last honky-tonk on your too-long tour close. It revels in time shared in the company of those you love and sometimes leave\, like the simple enchantment of watching your young son master a new card trick. \nCome see Hayes Carll on August 8th at 7:00 pm!
