SUMMARY:12/OC and Gavin Marengi @ The Cut Live
DESCRIPTION:12/OC got their start in the family kitchen of Portland\, Maine\, where brothers Will and Reid Nichols\, just 14 and 11 at the time\, first dove into country music through jam sessions and local open mic nights. What began as a backyard passion quickly grew into a regional movement\, with fans from all over taking notice. Their breakout moment came with a chart-topping single that held the No. 1 spot for 16 weeks on Maine’s premier country radio station\, cementing their status as rising stars. From there\, the accolades followed—most notably “Act of the Year 2025” at the New England Music Awards—solidifying their impact across the Northeast. Now\, 12/OC is taking things to the next level. \nGavin Marengi\, a prodigious country music singer-songwriter\, burst onto the scene with his debut album\, “Southbound\,” at the early age of 15. Now\, just two years later\, he’s already working on his third album\, with some of the industry best in Nashville. Continuing to captivate audiences with his heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies. Gavin’s journey is a testament to his remarkable talent and dedication to his craft. \nGet your tickets today!

SUMMARY:NItty Gritty Dirt Band @ The Cabot
DESCRIPTION:VIEW TICKETS HERE \nNitty Gritty Dirt Band All The Good Times\n\nThe Farewell Tour – 60 Years of Dirt | Doors: 7pm \nFor nearly six decades\, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has entertained audiences with their top-shelf musicianship and timeless hits. Now the time has come for the band who has carried a torch for American country and roots music to say so long to the highways and byways they’ve crossed an unim-aginable number of times throughout their career. \nOn March 21\, 2024\, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band kicked off the first of its last traditionally scheduled gigs\, ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour\, which has received critical acclaim. This isn’t goodbye forever\, but it will be the last fans see of multi-city runs and long bus rides. As 2026 approaches\, so does the band’s remarkable 60th Anniversary\, and to celebrate\, NGDB’s ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour — 60 Years of Dirt will show-case a special slate of performances and appearances set for 2026\, including a 60th Anniversary Celebration of the band’s formation (to the day) on May 13\, 2026 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville\, Tennessee. These exceptional shows celebrate the music created by the legendary\, yet ever-evolving NGDB. \nAnd speaking of music\, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has a new 5-song EP\, Night After Night\, produced by GRAMMY® Award winner and dobro master Jerry Douglas\, releasing Oct. 24\, 2025. The new single title track—a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-esque rocker—is perfectly suited to kick off their release of all-new music since 2009’s Speed of Life and follow-up their critically-acclaimed 2022 release\, Dirt Does Dylan. “Night After Night\,” produced by fellow Grammy-winner and dobro master Jerry Douglas—who first met the Dirt Band at the age of 19 and went on to play on the group’s first number one single\, “Long Hard Road”—features Jeff Hanna’s signature\, every-cool vocal delivery while the freight train groove of the band never lets up. “It’s right in our wheelhouse\, and it’s pretty easy to tell what a blast we had playing and singing it\,” Hanna exclaims. The new EP is a family affair for Hanna\, who co-wrote three of the new songs. “Nashville Skyline” was co-written by Hanna\, his wife and celebrated song-writer\, Matraca Berg\, and his son and bandmate\, Jaime Hanna. \nHelpful Links:\n\nFull Lineup of Cabot Shows\, Events\, and Screenings\nNitty Grutty Dirt Band Official Website\nMore about The Cabot’s Story

SUMMARY:The New Pornographers @ The Wilbur
DESCRIPTION:View Tickets \nNEW ALBUM ‘THE FORMER SITE OF’ OUT NOW VIA MERGE RECORDS\nOpener: Will Sheff (of Okkervil River) | Doors Open: 1 Hour Prior to Showtime \nOver the past 20 years\, The New Pornographers have proven themselves one of the most excellent bands in indie rock. \nThey’ve constantly offered new sonic surprises with every album\, and have established themselves alongside modern luminaries like Yo La Tengo and Superchunk when it comes to their ability to evolve while still retaining what made them so special in the first place. \n“Over the course of their 20-plus-year career\, the New Pornographers have often specialized in catchy ambiguity. If leader Carl Newman was just a machine cranking out power-pop tunes\, it would get boring. But there’s also a lot of mixed emotions going on under the surface of their studiously nuanced pop-rock formalism—like if Cheap Trick was as quick-witted as Steely Dan\, or the Romantics were as thoughtful as R.E.M.”\n– Rolling Stone \n“Pure\, blissfully irresistible power pop”\n– NPR Music
