Alternative singer songwriter Lizzy McAlpine brings her intimate live show to Agganis Arena in Boston as part of her newly announced headline tour. Known for her folk-infused indie pop that she originally posted on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube, McAlpine is touring in support of her latest album Angel. Her latest effort was praised for gorgeous, lilting melodies and its blend of classical and contemporary influences. She was recently praised by Pitchfork for her “knack for capturing the domestic details of intimacy,” and this applies not only to her studio albums, but to her vulnerable live performances as well.
