River Events Calendar

HONK! Festival of Activist Street Bands is October 4-6 in Somerville! Acoustic and mobile, these bands play at street level, usually for free, with no stages to elevate them above the crowd and no sound systems or speaker columns to separate performers from participants. These bands don’t just play for the people; they play among the people and invite them to join the fun.

There has never been a more important time for a blend of music and activism, joy and action, gathering and working together for causes that matter. This is HONK!, and you can be part of it! Join in the fun, Oct. 4-6!
