Friday, August 9th, Vermont native Sam Amidon is making an appearance at The Music Hall Loft!

The experimental folk musician (voice, banjo, guitar, fiddle) has released six acclaimed solo albums, often consisting of adventurous reworkings of traditional American ballads, hymns, and work songs. The New York Times writes that Amidon “transforms all of the songs, changing their colors and loading them with trapdoors.”

Who knows, with all the collaborations he’s done, maybe a surprise guest will show up… Tickets are on sale for $15 a piece!
