River Listeners At Home – Michaela’s Story

You may have seen in the news lately that pet adoptions have increased during the Covid-19 outbreak. With everyone spending more time at home, people are taking advantage of the time to train a pet they wouldn’t have ordinarily have had. It’s also hard saying no to the pleading eyes of an adorable animal…

Meet one River listener helping to raise those statistics! Michaela!

She’s spending her quarantine days with her new, incredibly adorable best friend, Shadow! Not only is he a wonderful distraction, but an excellent source of snuggles and love! Training is going well too, but that’s difficult to think about that when looking at this adorable pup! How can we not spend every second thinking about petting this ball of fluff!

Even with the outbreak, wonderful animals everywhere are still looking for a forever-home! Adoptions can still be made safely by appointment. Visit mspca.org to find out more.

First and foremost, we hope you and yours are all safe and well during these trying times. We hope to look back on this as a time when humanity came together to do the right thing… by staying apart.

There is a lot going on right now, to say the least, but we’re hoping you could help us bring everyone a little closer together, virtually!

The River wants to know how you’re spending your time in isolation! Finishing projects? Playing games with family or room mates? Starting a new hobby? Raising funds or awareness for a good cause?
