Join Karina Corrigan, PEM’s Associate Director – Collections and H. A. Crosby Forbes Curator for an immersive tour in Yin Yu Tang, a 220 year old Qing dynasty merchant’s home from Anhui Province. Yin Yu Tang was transported to PEM in its entirety over twenty years ago and tells a captivating story of daily life in rural China. During our tour, we’ll also have an opportunity to explore PEM’s internationally significant collections of Asian export art and talk about the central role that opium once played in the acquisition of many of these luxuries.
