Conversations About Art: Party Dresses to Punch Bowls

Friday, May 17th

Peabody Essex Museum  |  Salem, MA

Join Ruthie Dibble, PEM’s Robert N. Shapiro Curator of American Decorative Art, for a tour that explores how men and women have partied in style in the greater Boston area for over 300 years. From party dresses to punch bowls, tea sets to a pleasure yacht, each stop on the tour will highlight captivating objects that tell us what’s changed–and what hasn’t–when we celebrate milestones, embrace glamour, and gather with friends and family. The tour will afford an opportunity to experience multiple galleries across the museum, including Fashion + Design, Maritime, and On this Ground: Being and Belonging in America.

Enter before Sunday, May 5th at 11:59pm. Good luck!
